Our Partnerships

The Bristol Refugee and Asylum Seeker Partnership (BRASP) is an innovative, self-motivated collaboration of 15 organisations working in solidarity with refugees and asylum seekers in Bristol. Established in late 2019, BRASP was formed to systematise cross-sector working, enhance communication, reduce duplication, and increase organisational efficiencies. The partnership’s overarching vision is that “all refugees and asylum seekers enjoy healthy and fulfilling lives in Bristol, have a voice, and their needs are met by an effective, unified, and sustainable sector".

Founded in 2011, Borderlands is a proud founding member and one of the key delivery partners within this collaborative network. Dedicated to helping forcibly displaced people move from ‘exclusion to belonging,’ Borderlands delivers a range of frontline, community-based activities guided by the values of warmth, dignity, connection, and respect. Within the wider BRASP ecosystem, Borderlands plays a vital role, driving the partnership's goals around frontline service delivery (including English language, food provision, and health and wellbeing projects).
