Please come on Monday or Tuesday between 10:00 and 12:30.

Do you want to contact us for research?

We recognise the importance of supporting research in the migration field, however we are a small busy team with limited capacity.

We will assess your research question and documentation and only get back if we have capacity and if your work aligns with our values and ways of working.

Borderlands is situated in the Assisi Centre, which is part of St. Nicholas of Tolentino Church. Please come to the middle door of the on the building on Lawfords Gate and ring the Borderlands buzzer to talk to one of our staff members.

If you are coming for a drop-in Welcome Centre day, please enter via the left-hand door on Lawfords Gate which is located inside the gate, next to the bicycle lock-up.

Parking instructions for Borderlands’ nearest car park:

  • Location: St Nicholas of Tolentino Church, BS5 0TJ. The church car park is situated on Pennywell Road, BS5 0TJ. If you are approaching from Stapleton Road (A420), the parking area will be on your right-hand side.

  • Rate: From £1.00 per hour

  • Payment options: Use QR codes in the car park and follow the instructions to payment or download 'Your Parking Space' App to pre-book your space at a slightly discounted rate.

  • Responsibility: It is your responsibility to ensure that your parking space has been paid for. Unfortunately, Borderlands cannot reverse any parking charges incurred.

  • Free for drop-offs only: The parking space offers a 20-minute grace period for drop-offs or deliveries which is free. Please utilise this time wisely and be mindful of others using the parking facility.
