Below are our current volunteer opportunities:

  • Running or assisting our weekly English classes

  • Welcoming and registering new and existing members

  • Helping to run our art table

Volunteer Mentors
Volunteer Mentors provide one-to-one support to our members as part of our mentoring project. To find out more about the mentoring project, how mentors support our community and the amazing impact this can have for our members click here.

We hold information sessions on our mentoring project for interested volunteers to learn more about the project and mentoring role. We provide extensive training over 4 sessions (either evening or weekends) to new mentor volunteers and provide additional training throughout your time as a volunteer. To understand more about the sort of skills needed to be a great mentor download the mentor role description.

If you are interested in being a mentoring volunteer please complete an expression of interest form. We will then invite you to our next information session. Please note we do not have a regular schedule of recruitment for new mentors, but recruit when more volunteers are needed so we cannot say exactly when we will be in touch but if you fill in the expression of interest we will contact you at our next recruitment round.
